Che. How

revolution is not unknown to anyone. In this era, if you go around the internet
for a while, you will find a lot of stories about Che. Here only mentioning a
few incidents of his life so that one can take a look at the life philosophy of
this revolutionary figure.
Introduction
“The
revolution is not an apple that falls when it is ripe. You have to make it
fall.” Che Guevara
Che Guevara was an Argentine Marxist revolutionary,
physician, author, guerrilla leader, diplomat and military theorist and a major
figure of the Cuban Revolution. Growing up in a
socialist political family, he acquired a detailed knowledge of politics at a
very young age. He
was assassinated in 1967, but Che has been a symbol of youth for decades.
Early
Life:
Ernesto Che Guevara was born on 14 June 1928 in
Rosario, Argentina. Che Guevara was the eldest of five children and he was born
in a middle class family. Although suffering from Asthma, he excelled as an
athlete and a scholar. He completed his medical studies in 1953. From
his early age, he was fascinated with poetry, especially Pablo Neruda, John
Keats, Antonio Mercado, Federico Garcia Lorca, Gabriel Minstrel and Walt
Whitman, including he read books written by Karl Marx, William Faulkner, Emilio
Salgari. Guevara also read books by Jawaharlal Nehru, Albert Camus, Lelin and
Robert Frost. He travelled so many countries in Latin America. After observeing
extreme poverty & corruption. From that realization, he thought only
violent revolution could solve this problem. In 1953, Guevara went Guatemala,
where Jacab ardent headed a progressive regime that was attempting to bring
about a social revolution. The overthrow of the Arbenz regime in 1954 in coup
supported by CIA persuaded Guevara that the USA would always oppose progressive
leftist governments. This became the cornerstone of his plans to bring about
socialism by means of a worldwide revolution. It was in Guatemala that Guevara
became a dedicated Marxist.
The
Motorcycle Journey
In 1951, after a year of study break, Alberto
Guevara set out on a motorcycle trip to South America with a friend. The main
purpose was to work for a few weeks as a volunteer in the Leper Colony (a
special colony for lepers) in San Pablo, Peru. On his way to Machu Picchu, he
was shocked to see the extreme poverty of poor farmers in remote areas. The
trip took him to Buenos Aires via Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia,
Venezuela, Panama and Miami. He observed
extreme poverty & corruption. Towards
the end of the trip, he argued that South America was not a collection of
separate countries but a single entity. Later, in his various revolutionary
activities, the consciousness of this single, borderless America returned again
and again.
The
Cuban revolution & Che Guevara:
Guevara is known for his role in the Cuban

Che
Guevara and His Legacy
Since his death, Guevara has become an extreme
popular political leader in the globe. His name is frequently tagged with
rebellion, revolution and socialism. However, his opposite ideology holder
ofter take him as brutal and a bad person. One of the reasons is, he ordered
prisoners executed without trial in Cuba. Guevara‘s life has great impact on
public interest. His writing including marxist politics, social theory,
guerilla warfare strategy and tactics, books, poetry as well as official
document preserved in Cuban government archives.
Conclusion
Much can be said about Che. However, I end this
short autobiography of Che Guevara with a word he said, “Many will call me an
adventurer, and that I am...only one of a different sort: one who risks his
skin to prove his truths.”
